RICKY JEFFERSON

I have served on the following,Ypsilanti City Council 2010 - 2014, SEMCOG, Michigan Municipal League Governance Committee, VantagePort: the Detroit Region Aerotropolis Corporation, Washtenaw Prison Re-entry Steering Committee, Friends of Rutherford Pool, the Joe Dulin Day/Parkridge Summer Festival Committee, President of the Association of African American Contractors of Washtenaw County and the UAW Local 735 Chaplaincy Committee. I have completed Level 1 of the Elected Officials Acadamy offered by MML. After Graduating from Ypsilanti Public Schools in 1976, I secured employment at GMC Willow Run Powertrain where I retired in 2009 after 32 years of service.
